Here is one of our latest by Mrs. Sue Martin. Mrs. Martin had Louisiana Roof Crafters remove an old leaky skylight that they had tried everything to repair, even sealants and ducktape. Yes, ducktape. Ducktape, believe it or not, is a very common attempt to stop a leak on a skylight.
Mrs. Sue had us replace the old leaky dome-type skylight with a brand new 10-year no-leak Velux skylight. This was an excellent choice by Mrs. Martin, she will not have to worry about a leaky skylight anymore. Now please read exactly what Ms. Sue told Google and the world.

Went great. Prop service with sales and their roofing crew. They have a special trailer that lifts up to the roof and can be driven around the house with no damage to your yard. Roof looks really good and they guys cleaned up great. My house looks looks like a new home. I have had many complements on new roof.

Quite well compared to previous roofing contractors. Some language barrier at times. Hard working crew showed up when expected. Every call answered. Some minor problems but overall a company I would call or recommend.

We agreed roof would be replaced at insurance cost. In the process of replacing the roof, it was discovered my rafters were not properly braced. I was given a quote on the spot for cost to brace the rafters. This added a small amount of extra time to the job but not an inconvenience.. Each day after completion of work, street view of house was tidied & made presentable. Due to weather issues, my work was completed over a weekend but only after I was asked if I minded the weekend work. Workers were very mindful of my landscaping, which is extensive. Compared to a previous roofer, my landscaping was unscathed!! All in all, I was very satisfied with the completed job.

Louisiana Roof Crafters just installed a new roof for me and I am very pleased with the sales representative, Glen Helsel , and also with the installers. My job was completed in one day and the job went down without any problems. There were a couple of rotten boards that they found and replaced them without issue. There was a foreman there the whole time of the install in case I had any questions or if any unexpected issues came up. The area around the house was kept clean during the installation and all the nails were picked up with a magnet. Again I am very pleased with the workmanship and would highly recommend Louisiana Roof Crafters for your project.

THEY REMOVED OLD ROOFING SHINGLES, CHECKED FOR ANY WOOD DAMAGE UNDERNEATH THE SHINGLES, REPLACED ALL THE BLACK UNDER LINER, REPLACED AND CAULKED ALL ROOF VENTS AND CHIMNEY, SPRAYED THEM TO MATCH THE ROOF, REPLACED ALL EXPOSED DRIP EDGES AND CLEANED UP AND REMOVED ALL TRASH FROM PROJECT.
MY INSURANCE AGENT GAVE ME SOME NAMES TO PICK FROM FOR A ROOFER. I RESEARCHED THEM ONLINE AND DECIDED TO GO WITH LOUISIANA ROOF CRAFTERS. MR. JOE BOYTE CALLED THE SAME DAY I LEFT A MSG. THE NEXT DAY HE STOPPED BY,(ON TIME) TO TELL ME HOW THIS WOULD PROCEDE. HE BROUGHT BY SOME SAMPLES FOR MY HUSBAND AND me TO LOOK AT. HE ALSO SUGGESTED THAT IF WE SAW A ROOF WE LIKED, HE WOULD DRIVE BY AND LET US KNOW WHAT KIND IT WAS. WE FOUND IT HARD TO MAKE UP OUR MIND BY LOOKING AT A LITTLE SWATCH, SO WE LOOKED IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AT ROOFS AND PICKED SOME OUT. WITHIN A FEW DAYS WE HAD PICKED OUT WHAT WE WANTED. THE SUPPLIES WERE ORDERED AND DELIVERED WITHIN THE WEEK. THE 6 PERSON CREW SHOWED UP EARLY IN THE AM. MR. BOYTE AND MR. WILL LAMPTON, GENERAL CONTRACTOR ARRIVED AND GOT THE JOB STARTED. ALL MY LANDSCAPE BUSHES WERE COVERED WITH TARPS FOR NAILS AND TRASH. THEY WORKED VERY WELL AND QUICKLY. EACH SHINGLE RECEIVED 6 NAILS, WHICH I WAS TOLD IS INDUSTRY STANDARD NOW. YOU COULD HEAR THE SIX NAILS AS THEY HAMMERED THEM IN. I FREQUENTLY STEPPED OUTSIDE TO CHECK ON THE PROGRESS OF THE JOB AND SPEAK WITH THE CONTRACTOR. THE CREW CLEANED UP AS THEY WENT. THEY TOOK A SHORT BREAK FOR LUNCH AND WERE BACK ON THE JOB. THEY ONLY UNCOVERED THE PORTION OF THE ROOF THEY KNEW THEY WOULD FINISH THAT DAY. I WAS NOT LEFT WITH ANY UNEXPOSED ROOF, IN CASE IT RAINED. THEY WORKED UNTIL THE SUN WAS GOING DOWN, ABOUT 8 PM. THE NEXT MORNING THEY WERE BACK TO FINISH THE JOB. ALL IN ALL, IT TOOK ABOUT A DAY AND A HALF FOR THEM TO COMPLETELY FINISH THE WORK. I APPRECIATE THE WAY THEY WENT THROUGH MY BUSHES AND LAWN AND FLOWERBEDS AND DRIVEWAY, LOOKING FOR ROOFING NAILS. THEY DID A THROUGH JOB AND WE WERE VERY PLEASED. THE NEXT DAY LOOKING AT THE ROOF, MY HUSBAND SAW A SPOT ON THE ROOF HE WASN’T SURE WAS DONE CORRECTLY, SO WE CALLED THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND HE CAME RIGHT OVER. THERE WAS NO PROBLEM ON THE ROOF TO BE CONCERNED WITH. WE HAVE A 5 YEAR WARRANTY ON ALL WORK PREFORMED BY LOUISIANA ROOF CRAFTERS. WE CERTAINLY WILL USE THEM IN THE FUTURE, IF NEEDED. MY HOUSE IS ABOUT 20 YEARS OLD AND ABOUT 2500 SQUARE FEET.

Provider responded quickly to my request for an estimate and scheduled the work to be done promptly at my convenience. All workmen were courteous and professional. I am very pleased with them. I plan on having them do additional work in the fall.

Louisiana Roof Crafters provided excellent service. They were professional and prompt with service and did an excellent job. Chuck Magee met with the insurance adjuster and helped me throughout the process. There were many companies with signs in the yard but as far as I know this is the only local company which makes me feel secure with the warranty. The cleanup was excellent. I would definitely recommend their services.

I noticed some dimples on my roof. I contacted RoofCrafters and they sent a guy out to look at my roof. Then two days later, a hail storm hit. He called me before I could call him and asked me if he could come redo the estimate and I said yes. He was prompt and took care of my roof needs. He worked with my insurance company and my insurance company was very impressed with Louisiana Roof Crafters as a whole from seeing their work first hand. I am very pleased with the way Louisiana Roof Crafters has handled my damaged roof up to this point. Customer Service is outstanding.
Right now, my roof will be fixed in two weeks. Louisiana Roof Crafters, like all the local roof companies are busy fixing roofs from the last hail storm. Louisiana Roof Crafters date for me is sooner than any other company at this time.

They showed up when they said they would and had the entire roof done in two days. They cleaned up very well and did not leave any nails or roofing debris. The roofing rep was very friendly and efficient and came out as soon as I called him for anything. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a roof done.
